We won an award!

It's always good when hard work is recognised, so we were delighted to win an award from CLAS (the Community Land Advisory Service, part of Social Farms and Gardens) for our 'Community Owned Green Space'.

Three members of Aberystwyth Conservation Volunteers (ACV), who regularly help out at the garden, went to Machynlleth to receive the award on 15 March.

Pictured above are Sara, Cameron and Bradley, with local gardening author Huw Richards.

We were one of four gardens in mid Wales to receive an award, and you can see more about Llanfach, Penparcau and Borth Community Gardens, as well as us, on this video (we're at the end).

Thanks are due to everyone who has supported us over the years: the Students' Union, Aberystwyth University Estates department, the Human Resources Dept, the Town Council, the Tyfu Dyfi project and individuals, including our faithful volunteers.

We're always keen to have new volunteers so get in touch if you'd like to join us.
